Alphonso mangoes, also referred to 'Hapus' in the regional dialect are considered to be the best tasting mangoes in the world. Grown in merely four small regions in India, we source ours from the best of the best, the coastal town of Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. Using spray dried technology, we remove the moisture and convert these mangoes into a pure and delicious powder form, that we mix with our plant protein to give you this lip smacking protein all 365 days of the year. What is the primary source of protein?
At Pod, we use our signature blend of the highest quality pea and brown rice protein isolate which makes it a complete protein with all essential amino acids.
What sweeteners do you use?
Unlike most protein brands, we only use plant based zero calorie natural sweeteners, i.e. Monk fruit and stevia.
How is the effect different from whey?
60 percent of India is lactose intolerant and hence whey you use it in a concentrated form through whey, you may experience bloating/acidity. Pod is extremely light on the gut and causes no side effects at all.
What kind of flavouring is used in making Pod?
We only use spray dried fruits, nuts and other real ingredients for flavouring. Neither artificial, nature identical or 'Natural' flavours which are mostly made in a lab.
Is there any bad after taste?
Our proprietary formulation and highest quality ingredients ensures you get a lip smacking taste with no bad after taste.
How do I know the protein content is as much as it is claimed?
We test every single batch. You can check the lab reports by scanning the QR code on the packaging or while ordering on our website too.
